About

In terms of my education and work, I graduated this summer of 2013 with my masters from Roosevelt. I have been working with at risk youth for the past 4 years. Previously I worked in a residential setting and I currently work with youth in the juvenile court system.

I am a very sincere person who likes to talk with others. I tend to avoid conflict and try to work out any problems along the way. Others find me easy to get along with and that's often the case. I am someone who is hard working. Throughout undergrad and grad school, I worked full time while studying full time. I think hard work will pay off in the long run and is important. I work hard, but because I love what I do, I never mind the challenges at work.

Looking

I am looking for someone who likes to try new food at restaurants. I also enjoy spending time inside with someone I feel close with; staying in with a bottle of wine and a movie is sometimes the best way to spend a cold evening. I enjoy going out with friends, but going out to Wrigleyville or other college-bar areas is not my scene.

My Interests

I am someone looking to always try something new and exciting to do. I am someone who likes to find different things to do, especially in this great city, whether it be a festival in the summer, or things like zoo lights or christkindlemarkrt in winter. I love trying good new food, good wine/beer/or whiskey.

I also love to travel. I'm quick to pack up my bike in my car and go camping and cycling up in Wisconsin for a weekend. I've also traveled to many countries over the past few years because I find different cultures and history so fascinating. I always like going new places and exploring.

I also started running in 2013. Ran a 15k in November which was a big accomplishment for me, as I was never a runner. I'm hoping to check off running a marathon next year from my bucket list. I want to continue training to get to that point next October.
