Caring, considerate, non-materialistic.
I feel that things like family, friends, knowledge and the beauty of nature are more important than money, status, power and possessions. Helping others should come above profit. I'm a Christian - though maybe not a very good one!
I believe that good communication is essential in a healthy partnership. For me, in an ideal relationship the communion between two people's hearts, minds and souls is just as valuable as the physical side of things.
I have never been married and don't have children, but do love kids.

Looking

Seeking someone who enjoys life's simple pleasures, and is curious and intelligent, although you don't have to be academic or intellectual.
Looks in a partner are less important to me than having some similar interests and shared values. I really hope to meet someone who can share a passion for nature and countryside, maybe history too, and wouldn't mind living in a smaller town rather than a big city.
Looking for a companion, best friend, soulmate, sister, all in one if possible.
NON-SMOKER much preferred.

My Interests

Nature, history, gardening, visiting places of interest.
Museums, art galleries, cinema, reading, classical (and other types of) music.
I most enjoy being by the sea, river, hills, in the woods, or in old historic villages and churches; I definitely prefer quiet country spaces to noisy, crowded places.
I love all types of weather- snow, sun, clouds, rain, wind and storms, (except very hot and humid climates).
