About

I'm pretty easy going.I try to keep it simple and enjoy the little things in

life like yard work, playing hide-and-seek.I consider myself to be a laid

back individual who is also passionate about the things that are

important to me; friendships, relationships,my faith and my physical

fitness (by that, I mean that I exercise daily in order to maintain a

healthy body and mind). I am outgoing, enjoy joking around and

definitely don't take myself too seriously.
I love the outdoors; especially boating, golfing, hiking in the mountains

and really any other type of outdoor activity. Die hard Carolina Panthers

and St. Louis Cardinals fan!! I enjoy attending sporting events (even a

Lake Norman HS soccer, football or baseball game), concerts, comedy

clubs, live music at a local bar, movies and an occasional show at the

Blumenthal.
I, like everyone, want to be madly in love again. I want to look forward to

coming home to that special someone, or just waiting for the phone to

ring just to hear her voice. I want the excitement of courting a women

you so badly want to please.(God, I hope none of my buddys read this!)

Your never to old to be romantic:)...I would love to have that one special

nice lady in my life to do some traveling around the country, visit Outer

Banks of NC and Jellystone Park and to do some camping and sight

seeing. I am looking for that one special person that's down to earth,

sincere, caring, fun to be with and a strong faith in God. Basically I want

someone who will share life's experiences with me...the good and the

bad. To love and be loved is the greatest accomplishment man can

achieve and I hope we can reach that point together. I like the outdoors

and love to watch the sun come up in the morning. I enjoy dancing

especially the waltz. I like feeding and watching the birds year round. I

like walking the beach and hiking in the woods. I like nice music,

romantic meals, cooking for two and playing Jenga. I like to make people

smile. (- : I also enjoy practicing Reiki, wind chimes, roses, and

sometimes watching grass grow. I do some volunteering at the senior ctr.

because.. oh dear, that day is coming....

Looking

I am Catholic who attends mass almost every week and would enjoy

having someone to share Sunday mornings with. But I also respect a

persons right to practice their faith however they choose. If it was

different than mine that is totally okay.
I would like to meet someone who has similar interests although I don't

expect the person to like everything that I enjoy. And on the flip side, I

want to be interested in what excites the person I meet. It would be great

to have a relationship with someone who I am excited to be with and

feels the same way about me. Someone who looks forward to planning

together what to do on a weekend or doesn't mind just hanging out

together at home having dinner and watching a movie or being together

on a Sunday watching the Panthers games.Over the years I've become

more particular in what I'm looking for in that someone special. It's

kinda like, "I don't know who she is or what she looks like, but I'll know

her when I see her!" I'm looking for someone who is not pretentious, self

absorbed or overly needy. I'm interested in someone who is family

oriented, healthy, loves barbequeing with friends, enjoying a beer or a

glass of wine and doesn't mind eating off paper plates every once in a

while. Don't bother if you feel a need to do the spectacular like climbing

Mt. Everest, jumping out of planes or base jumping. A round of golf, a jog

in the park, even snow skiing, or backpacking is as extreme as I need to

get. I would like to find someone who is at peace with herself and with

the Lord. I have discovered that for two people to have a close personal

and physical relationship, they need to have a number of things in

common and be best friends.. This forms a solid bond. If you have that;

the rest is easy.......... It would be wonderful to share what life has to offer

with someone that I care deeply about.

My Interests

I am praying that God will lead me to my "Eve", (and no I am not
going to let her make me sin, lol) I want to share the good
and bad times, the praise and worship and yes even being a kid (do you

like amusement parks and zoos?) I am a down to earth person so I don’t

go looking for the big things(oh I am sure they are nice) but there are so

many small things that can make
life so memorable.When you look to the sky and the sun is setting and

the clouds sit in a sea of red and your first thought is WOW, cost

priceless.I have enjoyed my children but not having that someone to talk

with, have discussions
whether deep or light is so different when it is with someone you care for.

I want someone who isn't afraid to pray over a meal in a restaurant

which my kids and I do if you look around - no one does it. I have

learned to love the small things in life because I couldn't afford the big

and I learned not to dream big because I knew they were unattainable,

and that helps you appreciate the little things. I like snuggling on the

couch, I like taking walks while holding hands and talking about the

good times and the bad.
Discussing God and beliefs. I like concerts also but when you have no one

to go with. LOL went to the Beach Boys with my kids, I had a blast but

them, .....not as much as me. I like to go and see comedians, I love to

laugh. Before I was married I use to like dancing and playing pool ....do

they still have those things...lol...
